What can I even say? This story was a guilty pleasure for sure. You know it's bad but keep reading anyway. I'm saddened the ending was so rushed too but I hope it gets a sequel somewhere down the line. So many plot points were just abandoned that I just want to cry for caring in the first place. The archangel quest where he needed to kill undead or something. The ash blade. The black dragon sword never got to tier 6. There were supposed to be like 2 other people on the same level as the scholar. A new adventurer team was teased but never properly introduced. Just a lot of things never get resolved. I don't think he even technically finished the quest to gather the 7 treasures or whatever, at least he didn't finish the original purpose of the quest. you can just tell the author got tired of the story and wanted to move on. after that year-long break he had, the story picked up in pace tremendously like he was just trying to get it over with. sad but understandable.
the whole enslavement thing made me stop reading due to the notes in novel about spoilers and the fact that the reasons for enslavement could've been achieved willingly, it was good but if you got ocd when it comes to stuff like plot holes just becareful encase you end up putting the novel down

Readers are in for a world of pain as far as cultivation terms are concerned. Although GGP's translation is acceptable. He leaves a lot of terms in pinyin. I myself had to do a lot of research to understand a lot of terms in BTTH. I mean Dou = Battle. Wang = King ( maybe?) Huang=? I only know that Di = Emperor ( From AGM ). As far as IET's novels are concerned a lot of mythologies are included if you want to enjoy the story you have 2 options.1) Convince GGP to do what RWX does.2) Search for it yourself.As far as the novel is concerned I believe IET ain't screwing it up.
