However, from Chapter 100 onwards, the narrative shifts its focus more towards war and its aftermath. Although there are chapters dedicated to character relationships, they seem less captivating compared to the first hundred chapters.

The protagonist is charming, and readers can't help but root for his happiness. Unfortunately, this story falls into the "regret" genre where the main character mistreats someone he cares about and later feels remorse. It's disheartening to witness their suffering due to the自私 actions of the female characters, despite their understandable circumstances and the theme of miscommunication. At this stage, any average village girl would seem like a better choice.

Nonetheless, the novel itself is an enjoyable read. By the way, the protagonist's loyal comrade is incredibly heartwarming.
