Never mind, I figured it out. I absolutely adore this novel and the manga; the female lead is hilarious and lovable, and her chemistry with the male lead is fantastic. The ensemble of characters is a blast, and reading it brings joy!

"5 STARS! I absolutely adore this story! FL may not be the traditional villain, but she's hilariously charming. Her strength and wit are admirable, and reading it brings laughter. The characters are lovable, especially their interactions – they're well-developed. The plot, writing, and translation are top-notch, making it easy to follow.

Though the premise is somewhat common, the storytelling stands out with its fresh take on the 'villainess from a book' trope. FL's adorable and relatable personality adds a delightful twist. The male lead, ML, is an intelligent and intriguing character, offering a unique perspective. Their dynamic together, with ML's mischievousness towards FL, is a treat.

This series is a hidden gem that deserves more recognition. The chemistry between Leniel/ML is expressive, and their playful banter with Giselle/FL is delightful. The mystery surrounding Giselle's background adds an exciting element. Overall, I highly recommend this fantasy romance-comedy to anyone who enjoys captivating stories with a touch of whimsy."

I enjoyed the translation platform due to their excellent book selection. The concept intrigued me, which led me to start reading. Both the male and female leads (ML and FL) appeal to me. The pacing has been solid, and the world-building is impressive. The FL doesn't fall into the typical "idiot syndrome" found in some stories, nor is she overly assertive or angst-ridden. She's a refreshing and enjoyable character, currently my favorite FL as she portrays a relatable office lady. The ML is perceptive, avoiding common clichés often seen in romance novels, like mistaking the MC for his original counterpart. Despite his intimidating demeanor, he has a sense of humor, making him anything but a stereotypical stoic ML.

I'm puzzled by the low 1-star ratings, as I find the story engaging and well-executed.

This book is absolutely hilarious! The female lead (FL) behaves exactly like me, which I find relatable. She hangs out with an ensemble of charismatic villains who are actually quite cool and enjoy playfully teasing her. Each villain has a distinct personality, which adds depth to the story. What I appreciate is that the supposed main love interest (ML) is sarcastic and has a great sense of humor, breaking the mold of the usual stoic and dull ML character. He sees through the FL's antics and finds her amusing - in a positive way, of course.

The FL isn't portrayed as dumb or overly optimistic; her decisions might not always be well thought out, but that just makes her more genuine and endearing. Her interactions with others are genuinely sweet and humorous. Overall, I highly recommend this book – it's truly enjoyable!
