Wow, the story was packed with intricate plot points, and while I appreciated the engaging murder mystery twists, they sometimes felt sudden compared to the more laid-back esports scenes. The author dove deep into the technical details, so I skimmed through most of the competition descriptions. The main character is quite overpowered, excelling in four different roles, which was impressive.

As for the characters, Xie Zilu ended up being my favorite by the end. Initially, I disliked him, but his character growth and healing from past traumas were compelling. However, if you're looking for a lighthearted, romantic esports novel, this might not be your ideal choice.

    Quick notes on character impressions:

    - Lu Shi: Good
    - Wu Tianqi: Bad
    - Ayu: Good/Neutral
    - Xiao Hai: Good/Neutral
    - Feifei: Bad (puts relationships above friendships)
    - Xie Zilu: Good
    - Tai Yuan: Bad
    - Tai Zhen: Bad
    - Jiang Xi: Good

Keep that in mind while reading.

The protagonist discovers the joy of effective teamwork throughout the story. Initially, our main character (MC) is an incredibly skilled god-like figure who excels in all lanes and roles except for jungling. With the wisdom of a veteran and the agility of a beginner, he stands out as a nearly invincible force in the gaming world. However, the narrative remains engaging due to the MC's personal growth and emotional evolution. He learns to trust his teammates, fostering even friendly relationships with rivals.

The relationship dynamics are unique, as the original love interest from the original universe is head-over-heels for the MC, but their incompatible values lead to a clash. The ML refuses to listen to the MC and tries to force affection, causing the MC to remain aloof. This unexpected and heartwarming development adds depth to the plot.

The storyline intertwines with a gripping mystery that keeps readers on edge, often shifting between intense gaming scenes and the MC's haunting memories of past bullying incidents. This creates an intriguing mix of emotions.

Overall, the story offers a thrilling and enjoyable read, but for those uninterested in League of Legends, the extensive focus on gameplay and tournaments may become repetitive. Despite that, the character growth and unconventional romance make it worth exploring.

This e-sports novel was quite entertaining, with an intriguing, almost suspenseful undertone to the overarching plot. I appreciated how the main character developed alongside the protagonist, and surprisingly, I didn't feel the urge to skip through the gaming parts, unlike what I often do with similar books (I admit, it's something I've done before). However, I did skip over the bonus content, as one might.
