Author left this book incomplete from long time. I don't understand why to start with an incomplete story. Any reason by author is unjustified. I have waited too long for upcoming chapters since the story was too good. Any app should not place such authors who are not professional. I wasted my money

to counter those fake ratings. I rate it harsher than usual. First off the author doesn't really how to write with believable setting and characters. Moreover this novel full of nonsensical scientific and cultural issue. biggest downside outright racism and spreading false information (or more like lying) about our humanity's history and culture.

Love it!Maybe fail my exams because I binched all 500 chapters, but it was worth it haha! Waited a long time for a novel like this. It is probably my 30th novel or so but defi nitely under my top 5 till now. To the review:The evolution system and world building is in my opinion great, because it gives you a more „realistic“ feeling. The worldbuilding gives me almost a little „The great mechanic“ vibes and this was in my opinion the 2nd best cultivation novel of all time so far (just behind reverend insanity). The pace and translation is great as well! Here really shines the authors experience. I whould expect the story will also have between 1200-1500 chapters like some of his other books.Character design:Pretty good so far. At this point (ch500) the MC makes reasonable decisions and is also pretty likeable. It is definitely an OP MC storyline so far, but hey that’s ok. He is loyal to his points of view and on the forefront on earth civilisation. The side characters are also good designed and most of them have their reasonable amount of attention. The „villains“ if you can count them as one (the only two young masters) also act in within their reason and do not go the road of airheads and self destruction. Maybe a little bit to less character growth because every character is in a way designed that there is not many room for that. There are a few hidden plot twists here and there so I don’t really mind that.Storyline:So far so great!I really like the concept of the virtual world, because this is also the future we are heading in reality(except the evolution of course :,D). It is also a good balance between reality and VR. The only thing I would criticise is: There are really to few setbacks so far. I mean fgs they are in VR the only thing you lose if you die there is time and a little bit of money. Let the MC experience some of his flaws and let him grow in some way. As it is now he is relatively smoothsailing to the endboss which is probably some Alien? I mean he is dedicated and hardworking but that alone is to little for me. I want to be a little bit more shocked here and there. I understand the author has probably planned the whole story throughout and is in my opinion a bit „too professional“. The story does really not take you through a emotional rollercoaster. But it is good enough for me and probably better than 99.9% Resume:Great worldbuilding, Love the cosmic theme, good VR and reality balance, OP MC, decent storyline, a little to smoothsailing and little space for character development

pretty solid novel, some people bash it for the fact that the "bad luck" part of the novel is all heaven's fault, and yes it is, but that's part of the novel. it isn't some random bs that he just blames it out of nowhere, it's part of the main characters "gravis" background. it's something his entire family has to deal with, not just him, so I see it as just another element of the story that adds something else to make it less boring. This story isn't repetitive either, it's not just "go to new place, make someone mad, get their family/master involved, then whole sect, destroy sect, go to new area, repeat" when the enemy is the world itself, instead of trouble popping up randomly, it's instead finding allies and friends that is random since the mc has to assume the world is against him.overall, this novel has some pretty good development and story elements to it and takes a very different approach to cultivation compared to other novels, and is worth the time to read it.

This story takes a good cheat and ruins it with everything else. It's an edgy mess and  the logic of face is insane. mc saves someone's life and is betrayed in a grand manner but no one working for her thinks about what would happen if it happened to them and abandons her. karma isn't a thing. like she's even getting married. no one would marry her after this.

Mythical Journey is a very good read. I'll just go through the review categories one by one in my review to show you why. Translation quality- 4 stars. The translation quality is definitely very good, and the team translating this story obviously has a very good grasp on both the English and Chinese languages. Idioms aren't lost through translation, and the idea is usually crystal clear. However, sometimes there are the occasional hiccups such as original Chinese text or a forgotten explanation at the bottom. These are usually fixed, but this drops the perfect 5 star rating down to 4 stars due to the time required to fix. Update Stability- 5 stars. Yes, this is the category most complained about in the reviews. I was promised so and so amount of chapters, but I only got so and so amount. But if you look at the actual times of posting the chapters, it is actually very consistent. They always post one chapter a day, with the occasional bonus due to a holiday or something like that. Now you mention the fact that they promised 13 chapters a week in the menu, but according to the actual release times, they consistently provide 7 a week. You may be angered by this, but I am rating updating stability, not updating expectancy. And as such, they are pretty stable. Story development- 5 stars. This is the category where my bias comes into play. To be frank, I love this story, and I always give my power stones here. I'm sure others would too if they weren't turned off by the negative reviews about updating stability, and thus didn't give this story a chance. But rant aside, let me get into the (spoiler) details of this story. This is a transmigration novel with a focus on a hybridized cultivation using attributes. This is achieved through absorbing energy from antiques of tragedy and cultivating by means of a martial arts style by the white cloud gate. The story progression is logical, and there are little to no loopholes. And I said, I like it. So I implore you to give it a try. Character design- 4 stars. What can I say. The characters are much more intelligent and non-repetitive than a story such as library of heaven's path or martial world (to name a few stories that I like a lot despite common character flaws), but they aren't the best either. In an objective review, I cant place this 5 stars in good conscience, but I can't place it at 3 stars either for the very same reason. Honestly I'd like to put this at 4.4, but there is no option for that. So 4 stars it is. World building- 5 stars. I like this story a lot, and the world it takes place in continues to interest me. Although parts of it are shaded under mystery, I like what I see. It's not ultra great like I shall seal the heavens, but it is above above-average. I would like to put this one at 4.6, but there is no option for that. So five stars it is. And I'm happy to see that ended up working out with the character design, lol.Anyways, just give this novel a try. It's not super light-hearted, and it has very good fighting scenes. It also has a bit of a comical side, so give it a try.
