The MC is supposed to have lived for billions of years,had his adoptive family murdered and struggled to get powerful enough until he reached a very high cultivation level yet he never shows any of that experience he gained in life, he's like a blank slate.Honestly disappointing, furthermore as all the characters are shallow,they don't seem to have any real qualities.The plot is predictable enough at times that you'll know what's going to happen 30 chapters before.At one point MC wanted to live a peaceful life after thinking his Clan was killed and there could have been a small Arc where we could see his character development but the author decides to use a 3-5 chapters SYSTEM to force him to advance the plot.The author argued that people criticized the novel because they want to see another TDG or Coiling Dragon instead of thinking what he had written wrong and can't understand that those 2 implemented their ideas right while he didn't.Written after 135 chapters
Not your average cultivation + weapons forging novel. The protagonist starts off old, but uses his Holy Flame to forge himself a new body. As his forging and tempering progresses, he actually gets younger and stronger. Since the protagonist is an older male, there isn't any romance (as of yet). Just straightforward smithing, monster hunting, and manly determination.
Very much enjoyed it! The way of writing, character interactions, and especially some dialogue really made the feeling of being in the story with the characters so real that it just fuels the imagination! Amazing work!
