And believe me, they are the sweetest thing ever.
Lastly, this novel was extremely amazing- a great top level work by Priest, characters and story on par or maybe better than mxtx.

The character development is superb, and the characters are incredibly quirky, making them feel more real than ever (another reason why I almost cried while reading). The atmosphere in the middle was very tense; while reading, I found myself even thinking of ways to help the main character (MC), such a troublesome novel. I think from the moment the MC saw the female lead, she was already smitten, which is why she was so resistant to pairing up with the wrong person.
Near the end, the atmosphere became a bit sweeter, though I really wanted more substance. I also wished for more satisfying confrontations when the MC entered college. Honestly, there was nothing wrong with the world-building; the issues stemmed from the MC herself, who was running away from love and couldn't be honest with herself, which frustrated me to no end. Things were fine after the confession, but it was annoying before that.
To be honest, I don't even want to finish reading the novel; I don't want to torture myself anymore.
It's a good novel, though; the twist about the world is fantastic. However, I have a weak heart and can't bear the emotional strain. I'm happy to read the novel, but I'm also afraid that the ending won't meet my expectations, so I stopped after the spoiler—meeting with God—scene.
I sincerely wish the two protagonists a happy and peaceful life.
There's surprisingly little focus on the system or novel writing aspects so far, but it remains a great romance nonetheless. It makes me wonder why they included the isekai and system elements at all, as they seem unnecessary. However, I'm only halfway through, so these aspects might become more prominent later on.
