It is a very good story..i feel sorry for Dr Ryan n his daughter…if only a mother knows whats best for her and her family..she ruin it all because of her greedy
Renka is a doll in search of humanity. Though the premise might not be the most original, its presentation is rather intriguing. We begin with a chapter about a job he takes on, his job being killing. Right after, we delve into his past where a former colleague appears, vowing revenge and shouting 'mother!'
Both story arcs are unfortunately too brief. The artwork was stunning, detailed, and somewhat unique for a standard samurai-era tale. Renka is searching for something and is ultimately flawed, making him a quintessential hero or anti-hero; his narrative is just distinctive enough to captivate interest. The story and action are solid as well, with sufficient substance in each chapter to truly engage the reader.
The unfortunate aspect is that it's simply too short. The opening was acceptable—something unrelated to the characters' objectives but introducing the main figures. However, we swiftly transition into Renka's history, which is far too rapid. There wasn't much buildup, and ultimately, we never witness him change. Renka feels incomplete. I can only presume that it wasn't popular enough to continue, which is truly regrettable.
