honestly I would have given this a 5 stars but its annoying the way author's will make the mc so pitiful and everyone is against him, even his family it will not be described properly why thus man's family is against him. its not like he had issues with them b4 hand they were a happy family then one accusation is enough to make them point against him and ignore him when he's at his lowest for months, then once it's revealed he is innocent they will come back asking for forgiveness. but these are the same people who left him when he was about to go homeless, but switched h up so fast. even his sister who was by far the worst out of them all, this woman called this man out in public. then when the truth is revealed she didn't even properly apologise and was still acting angry.y issue with this whole plot of everyone is against the mc in the beginning then he proves them wrong and becomes rich is so overused and annoying. Its annoying bc these authors never make a satisfactory method to resolve it.Right now the mc went to his family home after ignoring their calls for a while (which was a good move on his part) then when he arrives he doesn't display how angry he is or how wrong it was for them to do what they did or straight up yell at them and accusations them for not ha ing his back, the IMBECILE basically just accepts their apology over some dinner, all the while the idiots sister is still acting bitchy. it was a really nice series up until this point and I would have rated it 5 stars if not for this issue, the writing pace, development and charactes were pretty good actually but I will be dropping this going forward, it is pretty annoying based on the fact I was binging it,heh, another author making rubbish stupid mistakes in a good novel.
I'll be honest, this review will obviously have some author bias.I personally feel this is an epic story. It tells the story of someone who has known struggle all their life, suddenly thrust into a brand new world, and losing everything once more. It's also a redemption tale, and one that should resonate with any reader that picks it up.Or, I hope so.Now, a major criticism many readers will give is the slow pace. However, give it up to the 10-12th chapter, and the current will flow much faster. It would do you good to just read the story and enjoy Liu's adventure.Another criticism would be Liu's pettiness and personality display at the early point of the novel. Remember, even if he's reincarnated, it doesn't mean he's one wise and mature sage. He was bred in a cruel environment which makes him selfish, petty, and very self-centered. Obviously, with character development, he grows.Other than that, I think it all boils down to individual taste. Please don't unreasonably hate on this book just because it doesn't do what YOU want. I'd like to hear your opinions through comments or reviews. I'm always willing to grow and learn. Thank you all for reading.
