"Natalie," he whispers, his body edging me closer to the wall.
"Damien," I murmur back.
I can't help the urge. Ever since my eyes fell on him that morning, all of my nerve endings have been on edge, craving him.
My mate.
"I want you," he groans out as his lips trail a path up and down my neck, nibbling on the spot where the mark is supposed to be.
"You have a chosen mate."
"You are my mate," he growls out. "Mine."
And then he clamps down on my neck.
Damien's life takes a wild turn when a curse prevents him from finding his true mate, marked by a cursed wrist tattoo. He rises as the strongest alpha, but everything changes when a stranger, Natalie, enters his life, claiming to be his mate. Together, they embark on a quest to break the curse, uncovering secrets that bind them. With love and destiny at stake, they face a final battle against the malevolent witch.
Will their bond be strong enough to defy the odds and rewrite their fates? Who will Damien finally choose- his long-awaited mate or the woman who stood by him all through his life?

Romance and housekeeping duties appear to be key elements in volume 1.
Story: 8
The concept is original, starting off with a strong impact. By chapter 10, we get to see more of Furuda's likable personality and skills. The story highlights the trust and bonds between housekeepers and their clients, occasionally leading to romantic sparks.
However, some issues in the story are resolved too easily or left unresolved. Additionally, Furuda seems unusually experienced for her age, which feels a bit unsettling. So far, all the housekeepers introduced are quite young; it could be more engaging with a wider range of ages.
Art: 8
Facial expressions are exceptional, ranking among the best.
Backgrounds are average.
Most panels are clear and easy to follow.
Character: 6
There doesn't seem to be much character development for the protagonist beyond her dislike of spiders, certain personality traits, and bits of her past. Most characters introduced so far feel like extras, lacking uniqueness.
Enjoyment: 8
I enjoyed indulging in the fantasy... lol. Is such an excellent housekeeper really possible?
Some jokes were amusing, and the romance scenes felt natural and well-placed. The storytelling style is smooth and effortless.
That said, there are moments when it feels a little dull.
Overall: 8
This manga makes for a good light read or an interesting exploration of what a housekeeper's duties entail. Volume 1 includes some notes on housekeeping, with likely more to come in future volumes.
