Dias, the main character, is an orphan-turned-war hero thanks to his contributions to a war that lasted twenty years. As a reward, the king granted him a piece of land on the outskirts of the kingdom — the most remote place possible.
He was tasked to be the lord governing this frontier.
When he arrived, he found nothing but grassland. No food or shelter, let alone people. He stood there, not knowing what to do.
