To be able to meet each other on this planet is some kind of fate, and to be able to illuminate our fleeting lives, how fortunate we are.
Shi Ci thought that her first meeting with Tang Zhou was at the cafeteria on the first floor of Nancheng University. At that time, her younger brother pointed at Tang Zhou and said to her, “Sis! That’s the girl I want to pursue!”
Tang Zhou thought that her first meeting with Shi Ci was on the campus road of Nancheng University. That evening, she was returning late from her part-time job and was hit by Shi Ci’s car.
However, that was not the truth.
The character dynamics, the theme, the character development, the romance, and the storytelling all drew me in.
I loved that the main character (MC) didn’t care about their differences in age and social status, and definitely didn’t give a damn that her brother 'liked her first.' She does what she wants and likes who she wants, simply following her heart.
I especially loved the female lead (FL). Her personality, her innocence, her shyness, and her love were all so endearing.
However, I didn’t like the unnecessary drama that came towards the end of the story. The two-year separation just because they finally confessed their secret that had been burdening them didn't make sense to me. In my opinion, it should’ve brought them closer together.
