I'm not sure why this story isn't more highly rated, unless the LGBT theme has created a bias for readers.  If  that is the case, there are people missing  out on a really well written story.The  characters are engaging and have their own personalities, the plot makes sense,  and there are enough mysteries remaining to  keep you interested.Give it a try.

As early as chapter 3 you will already realize that this novel will be full of nationalism and probably racism as they go hand in hand..........

I've been known to ignore plot holes, as long as the other factors are good enough, but even I cannot stretch disbelief this far. The details are so lacking I feel giving the world background one star is giving it too much credit.

I thought this seemed familiar, turns out there is a manga version of it.I need to write some extra characters huh, the manga seemed good so high hopes for the novel

I can only make two comments to you and that’s to be careful with the way you bring information, I find that you are not subtle enough and that will only enrich the development of your characters and your intrigue which are already excellent and secondly pay attention to the structure of your sentences, I find it a little too compact and I have the impression that the actions follow one another too quickly sometimes. Otherwise I can only congratulate you for making me like an Idols novel, it's a feat, believe me! 😂
