Doctor Rut selects Lux and a few others to witness secretive experiments, thrusting Lux—a brilliant student with dreams of a promising future—into a living nightmare. What begins as curiosity quickly spirals into chaos when an experiment goes awry, trapping Lux in a haze of fragmented memories amidst a sea of casualties. Branded as a failed experiment by Doctor Rut, Lux emerges from the chaos surrounded by lifeless bodies, his mind clouded by the monstrous presence now locked within him. Determined to uncover the truth behind his transformation, Lux vows to make those responsible pay. Later on, assigned to solve a murder case, Lux, now known as a professional detective, teams up with Chloe, another sharp-minded detective. As they follow leads, they unravel a sinister plot orchestrated by a powerful organization that threatens to change the world. Alongside this looming threat, Lux and Chloe must race against time to address both personal and professional challenges. With danger lurking at every turn, Lux and Chloe must confront the unsettling possibility that the real villain may be closer than they think. Will they uncover the truth in time to save themselves and thwart the organization's plans?
