Hutan di bukit cadas Lembah Anai itu sudah ditelan malam yang kental ketika seorang anggota PRRI berpangkat letnan dan lima anggotanya "membersihkan" hutan itu. Dengan dua buah senter mereka memeriksa lekuk dan tonjolan batu yang mereka lewati. Mereka lewat di sana karena daerah itu memang sudah dipersiapkan sebagai jebakan yang mematikan bagi konvoi tentara pusat yang akan lewat di sana.

Teiga: Huh.. The kid's sharp on his own situation at least. I'll give em' that. By the way It's Mr. Teiga, Master Teiga, Elder Teiga, or Sir Teiga to you kid. Do not refer to me on a casual level. -He stands up and leaves the table-

I'm very intrigued in this world so far! military + fantasy is always a fun mix. Author has a very clear image of what his world looks like, which is always a plus!
