[WSA-2025 Entry!!]
Ethan’s life wasn’t going well. His father had suddenly disappeared, leaving him alone to take care of his younger brother, Leo.
Still, he managed to push through, looking after his little brother as usual. But one seemingly normal day, both of them were consumed by a flash of light. The next moment, they were falling from the sky.
They found themselves trapped in a tower with 100 stages—filled with monsters, creatures, and even humans. Everything felt like a game… but was it really?
As Ethan struggles to survive and adapt, he starts to realize that higher entities are involved. With each stage cleared, the truth becomes clearer—yet even more questions arise.
This universe is so different from ours… and yet, it shares a strangely familiar story.
------×------
Before we begin, I’d like to say something: the story might feel a bit rushed at the start, but I promise—once the introductions are out of the way, I’m about to give you one of the most well-thought-out worlds on WN.
Enjoy the story! Love you all! \( ̄▽ ̄;)/

Sinopsis sounds great until you actually reads it, it’s garbage full of face slapping. enemies suddenly crawling out from some corner and going after the MC.0 0 Reply

This is so far my favourite original novel on this site. It has many great things going for it, but as since this is a critique, I'll list some of the things that bother me most.Let's get the big one out of the way first, the interruptions. It feels like no matter what the MC starts doing, he immediately gets interrupted by something else. For example, his goal was to deal with Medusa to find those Dark Energy legacies. As soon as he finds the organisation, he gets sidetracked by his daughter getting kidnapped. He drops everything to go save her, and after he does, he instantly gets separated from his group. So, he needs to find a way to get to them (let's ignore that it was written that he could lick Space Magic in a couple of months by just training in it, but he needs 5 years to get back with the supposedly "quicker" method), and what does he do? He does almost everything but for the next 50+ chapters, and he finally got Space Magic in the latest couple of chapters. Following the recipe, I'm guessing he's not going to start trying to get back to his group anytime soon, but rather trudge along on this world just doing **** until he stumbles on something that will eventually get him back. This really bothers me, and is my second biggest gripe with the novel, since I loved how it seemed that it wasn't just another "one man's rise to power" novel, but more of a family, though that family has been separated for almost half the duration of the novel now. Seriously author, you've done ****ed up by breaking what is literally the most likeable part of this novel, namely the MC's family and their interactions, and leaving them separated for almost 100 chapters. (P.S. I swear to god I'm gonna ragequit this novel if it turns into a harem.)My third biggest issue the MC's stupidity. His main source of stats and skills is possessing corpses, which must be intact, but he can't stop obliterating his enemies. It's like he's too stupid to realise that there's a spectrum between leave them alone and atomise their corpses. Pretty much the only time he leaves an intact corpse (or even bothers to retrieve it) is when it's needed to help move the story along. My fourth, and last, big issue with the novel is the ******* level. Tension is supposed to build up to a climax and then drop back down, but this novel feels like it's trying to make every action life-or-death, and it gets stressful and annoying after a while.I can't really comment on the plot itself since there's still so much world-building going on, which always gets a plus in my book, and no other things bother me nearly as much as the four listed above. Also, if you want some advice from someone who's read and is reading a lot of novels, here it is:-Don't do side stories if you can (I get that they're usually a break for the author, but if I don't want to read about the MC in a story, I'll just read another story for a while.)-Keep track of your stats/skills/... (The worst thing that an author of a System novel can do is mess up their stats. I don't know about others, but while I read System novels, I build an image of the MC in my head which develops along with the MC as the story progresses, and seeing the stats jump around, disappear and mismatch really takes me out of it.)-Give the MC a break sometimes (Maybe a mini arc grinding session with the whole family later on when they’re reunited, where there’s no constant pressure and they can interact and buff up/sort out their stats/skills before the next big bad comes along.)-Don’t do too many arcs within an arc (At some point, they just fragment the story and make it hard to remember the plot as they all just blend together.)Please keep in mind that these are all subjective opinions from one person, so for all I know I’m in the minority and you’d do better to ignore me, but as I’ve written, this is just my critique on the novel. Thanks for your work :).0 0 Reply

I just caught up to chapter 271 and If im be completely honest with you this is one of the best novels I’ve read on here. You should give this a try 8/10🔥Main thing I didn’t enjoy is how hands off the MC is, I wanna see bro be a leader or grow into it, (bro had change isn’t chapter 1 just more shameless) and really do stuff and not just throw money at everythingBut other wise I enjoyed it.0 0 Reply
