In a world fractured by the Cataclysm of Ascension, humanity’s greatest champions, the Ascended Lords, defeated immortal Primordial Beings but at a great cost. The remnants of the world now exist in floating realms, connected by unstable magic bridges known as Ethereal Arcs. The descendants of the Ascended Lords, the Dominion Houses, rule with godlike powers, while the truth of the past is buried. At the heart of this fractured world lies the Well of Echoes, an ancient artifact said to grant unimaginable power to those who unlock its secrets. Yet the truth behind the Cataclysm and the Well’s creation remains lost to history, and those seeking its power must navigate a world of political intrigue, ancient secrets, and unstable alliances.

This is a bit weird point to say, but I like how a lot of plot points and characters try to justify Riley’s behavior and actions only for it to be irrelevant since Riley is the way he is because that’s how he is, Riley is Riley. A monster in human form and who’s irredeemable no matter what. (Touché to the author for creating a unique masterpiece of a story)

The story is great! The chapters are a bit iffy because of some word mistakes and such, but man, a VR Moba that's similar to Lol and Dota 2? Count me in! The story really picks up after the first few chapters, although the MC isn't OP and lacks any knowledge of the game, but he's equipped with very great swordsmanship, courtesy of Mr. Ghost-san. The character development is also pretty clear and I can't wait to read more. I'd like to see how our MC takes his unambitious character and changes it for the better!

If you, like me, came to read this novel hoping for a cold protagonist, as the tag on NovelUpdates says, I'm sorry to inform you, you won't find it here. In this novel we have the typical white and loving MC knight. I read this until chapter 175 and couldn't take it anymore, I was forced to leave it. The MC is extremely childish and spoiled, despite all these chapters there is not a tiny advance in the MC mentality
