Lydia Owens grew up in Oklahoma, where storm chasing alongside her father and brother was her greatest passion. But everything changed when a tornado took her father's life, leaving an irreparable void in her heart. Fleeing from painful memories, Lydia moved to England and built a promising career in Journalism. Years later, she is forced to confront her past when her boss sends her back to Oklahoma to document tornado season, working alongside her older brother, Tyler. In addition to reuniting with Tyler, Lydia finds herself dealing with Scott Miller, a cynical scientist from Storm Par who infuriates her with his provocations.
