The Violent, Scheming Demon Lord × The Spirited, Short-Tempered Little Cat
Rumor had it that the cruel and tyrannical Demon Lord, Chong Yin, had picked up a little cat.
The cat had a terrible temper. Not only did it swipe its claws at Chong Yin every day, it also turned the entire Demon Palace upside down.
Yet the Demon Lord never punished the cat.
Occasionally, people would even see the mighty Demon Lord gently holding the cat master’s pink little paw pads and blowing on them.
“Did you hurt your paw from hitting me?”
The cat, however, would simply turn away and ignore him.
At night, the sounds of an angry cat yowling could always be heard coming from the Demon Lord’s chambers.
By the next morning, the bed sheets inside would once again be shredded beyond use by the cat’s claws.
Inside the room, the Demon Lord would inhale sharply as he touched the fresh claw marks on his back.
“You little cat… it’s time to trim those claws.”
The little cat on the bed had already transformed into a beautiful naked young man. His eyes were red-rimmed, his trembling legs were covered with suggestive marks, and he snapped angrily,
“Then stop making me hold onto you!”
The Demon Lord immediately kissed his forehead.
“You have to hold onto me. Otherwise you’ll bump your head against the bedframe, and your head will hurt again.”
As he spoke, he reached toward the base of the young man’s tailbone, his deep voice gentle and coaxing.
“Niannian, let your tail out so I can pet it.”
The young man shuddered all over. His fluffy cat ears and tail popped out uncontrollably.
With a tearful, aggrieved voice, he choked out,
“You’ve already been petting it all night…”
The Demon Lord paid no attention and still reached toward that overly sensitive spot.
But in the very next moment, the cat in his arms raised a paw and—
Smack!
It landed squarely on the handsome man’s face.
