Synopsis
Wen Fan, a high-ranking female official of the Imperial Food Service in the Great Xia Dynasty, has died. Within the treacherous imperial court, despite her god-tier culinary skills, she didn’t even know how she perished. After her death, a story completely unrelated to her flashed before her eyes.
When she opened her eyes again, she had become the buffoon in that story—a meddler caught between the male and female leads. She had neglected her studies for the sake of romance, pretended to be wealthy just to spite the female lead, and abandoned her family to chase after the male lead…
Wen Fan frowned. She couldn’t understand why, hundreds of years later, someone would give up the opportunity to get an education just for a man.
At that time, the wealthy male lead, whose true intentions lay elsewhere, invited Wen Fan to go to a famous bar to hang out.
Wen Fan stood up, slung her backpack over her shoulder, and said indifferently:
“No thanks. I need to go home and help my parents. If you don’t mind, you can come to my house to eat. My house is the second-to-last shop right across from the school.”
In City A, there is a legend about a certain small restaurant that serves incredibly delicious food. The prices are average and the lines are long, yet it only hosts three tables per week.
Wen Fan: Are you kidding? Don’t I have to do homework when I get home? After finishing my homework, there is only enough time to serve three tables, okay?
