"Hello, sir. Are you cashing out or leveling up?"

Dungeons Online was the first game that cracked the system. Let nerds earn by nerding, and they will nerd forever. And Dungeons Online did just that.

Noobs turned into middle-class workers. Pro-players turned into celebrities and multi-millionaires.

And there was Tom. Likely, the only top ranker that lived off the scraps and cat-food. A courtesy of his father that went and disappeared, leaving Tom with just enough money to survive until his graduation. Until the day where the option of cashing out would appear.

Dungeons Online. A game where developers never shared a single bit of information. A game where the death of one's avatar is permanent. A game that can turn a beggar into a lord just as quickly as turning a celebrity into nobody.

But where does all this money comes from? How is it connected to the unnatural disaster that all governments across the world buried any information off? And how is this all connected to Tom's missing father?

was a solid read, until the ending of chapter 8 when the MC personality had a complete a drastic change from a manly man to a sissy anime protagonist.

I saw this novel on my recommended and I was pleasantly interested in the synopsis and I thought I would try it out.

For some reason however there was a huge disconnect when I tried to read the first few chapters of the story. The first chapter was jarring enough with no background or context given for any of world or charecters but the second chapter seemed to skip a whole portion of the story and made me think I had missed a chapter.

I would personally not recommend this novel but I still wish the author well and I hope others can get some enjoyment out of the author’s writing.

You know, with all the five-stars reviews that I can get, I believe that at least one, true 1 star would be a nice addition.

But on a more serious note, welcome everyone to yet another of Sloth's productions!

This time, we are tackling the topic of dungeons. Is the Dungeons Online game just a game? What does the memory of Tom hide? What kind of wonders can you expect in it?

Well, just read the first few chapters and you will find out!

Romance: Yeah, not sure when though
    Action: A lot
Plot: Heck, do you even need to ask?
    PLOT: most likely
    Isekai: Truck-ku aprooved
Gaming system: Exists but doesn't interrupt the story
Should I read: If you like a good story, then... OF COURSE YOU SHOULD!

    The cover 5/5

    The synopsis 5/5

The start is totally confusing. I know that he m did not reincarnate or something but why is that that his knowledge is MORE THAN the rank player claudia. Rank player are experienced player but why is it that he is more than experience than the rank player? also in the summary it is only said that the game only release a bit of information but from the protagonist decision from the start is like know it all and it is like he comes back from the past. I don't know if I understand it right but this is my opinion I will reread again

So the author gave himself a 1 star?

That's already enough for me to give him a 5 star rating!
Word count requirements are annoying ,like really.

great novel wasted to f it can't be continued, It veers off slightly with your normal mainstream game novels but in a great way. It bring a sort of different flavor on this type of genre perfectly good world building and so far the plot is really good
