The era of human dominance on Earth had come to an end. Dragonborns, powerful beings with divine abilities, now ruled the world.

Humans were relegated to slavery, forced to construct grand castles and labor on farmlands for their dragon overlords.

The dragons had conquered every kingdom on earth except for one that thrived despite their oppressive reign - Eldoria. This prosperous kingdom had a dark secret behind its success and resilience against the dragonborns’ threats.

Every decade, the dragonborns of Scalethorne demanded a tribute of slaves from Eldoria, and the time for the next offering was drawing near.

In accordance with the kingdom's customs, King Rodric prepared slaves and a rare mineral resource to appease the dragon king. However, Rodric was horrified when the demand turned to something far more precious.

His daughter, Aria.

Entertaining and fun! An Author's Opinion: Pick this book up and give it a chance! This story is a mid paced adventure that will entertain you with it's fantastic reactions and fascinating storyline. The mystical power our main character has is unique and one of a kind, and he uses this power to get out of a host of problematic scenarios. This story's strong point is its humor and reactions, as well as its developing scenarios. It's all very fun to read, and really leaves you wanting more. There is currently no major overriding plot beyond our character getting stronger and the story developing, but there is still room for this to develop. As of now, it feels similar to a slice of life novel, but with storylines that hook up, to a degree. The situations that unfold are usually loosely connected in that they happen as a result of the previous scenario.

Started as a sort of nice twist to the usual dungeon stories but the mediocre grammar, zero character development, one dimensional lame mediocre side character and cartoon villains make this a forgettable novel.Suffers the usual mediocre lame grammar pretty much every single story in this website has.Would not recommend.

At this point, I think this site is just deliberately picking trash novels to encourage readers to pour their coins into the ‘good’ novels...

One of my new favorite novels! The story is about a young man which is sucked into a new world in an accident - but all is not what it seems as there are players here and they've seemingly taken over bodies of the passengers from the accident - just wait and get mind blown as you progress further through the story till mc completes his first mission. The story has many well twists and turns and the entire plot is well thought out and planned. Stuff isnt mentioned needlessly or introduced without being used later on - also there aren't any magical moments or plot armors, where mc magically pulls something off due to good luck or due to an-extremely-convenient-item-that-wasn't-mentioned-before-that-just-happened-to-appear situation. So far the story has progressed at a good pace leaving not too much filler text or time jumping. Time jumping does happen, but it is to propel the plot line forward across stuff that is mundane and boring to read, e.g. grinding or everyday stuff. This is a feat that not many authors are good at balancing - whereas in GOR the story has prgorressed surprisingly well. The mc is thoughtful and clever,  but a bit under powered. He utilises his skills in a intelligent manner. However, he is not the hyper-intelligent mc, which can predict the future and actions of other and is seemingly omniscient.  He is clever in a sense that he know's when somethings is up and reacts to it in a rational way. That in itself is worth reading. The only downside to the mc is that I feel that he is leaning too much on his friends and borrowing strength from others, and not developing himself enough. This does seem to be slowly improving later on in the story as he finds a special sword. There is a good romantic sub plot which is compelling some of the mc's actions - but the entire romance "doing" is actually not that much. There are several female characters that are interested in mc, but as mc is only interested in main girl, it seems it will only be lackluster unrequited love. The side characters are all well portrayed and have very good development and each their own personalities, traits and habits which leads to interesting conversations and progression in the story. More commendable is also that these are not the box standard personality of tsunderes, air heads, etc. en masse, but characters that have their personality due to their well structured background history. Even more commendable is that the characters are ever changing due to the progression of the story - thus leading to an excellent and colorful character design. Now the world background, as this is the present world, not much needs to be said there. However the idea behind the story - that we are NPC's - leads to a thought-provoking and philosophical world and story which questions our very existence. This really well pulled off in this novel and is the main reason why this is such an enjoyable read. Translations are well done and the translator takes localisation into account ****** sure that not too much between the line are lost in translation. I can't comment on the updating stability, but I only hope that more releases are done soon and quickly as I can't get enough of this novel.Oh, a Fatty Wu has a small ***** because he doesn't update his novel regularly 😂 (this novel does have a good sense of self irony and humor)Tldr, If you like stiff like inception and the matrix then you'll love this. Stick with it through the first 50 chapter and you'll be hooked!

I was pretty confused with the dialogues of some characters in this novel. This novel has full potential, if the author has someone to proofread his works and help him make the story easy to read. Also there are some aspects in the MC that is lacking, like he is a soldier but the aura he gives off in the first chapters is more like an Isekai MC which he is not. The story could have been perfect if the MC has atleast someone survived with the ship. But still it has a Unique concept 0_0

Well, I was truly taken aback. That is, the first chapter caught me off guard. That ex-boyfriend really said "Let's wrap things up". Yeah, let's kill your girlfriend on Valentine's day, you romantic bastard. I don't usually read novels with female protagonists but this is a good read. Although the Chinese names can really make things confusing while reading. That's just my personal opinion. Overall, it's a great story with a promising protagonist. Future readers, you should definitely give it a read.
