In the merciless slums of Atheron, Vael risks everything to save his dying childhood friend, Elira, by borrowing gold from a sadistic lender. But promises in the gutter are lies. The lender betrays him, demanding repayment with fists and blades instead of coin, leaving Vael broken and bleeding out in the filth.
As death grips him, a mechanical voice tears through the void:

It is an interesting story, the writing quality is good, stability is good, story development isn't new but has enough new elements that to make it interesting. The character design is typical of urban novels in fact sometimes a little to similar, but mc has child making it better. The MC isn't all that great, he is infected with the denseness, but also the good guy, forgiving type giving everyone 100 chances and he does not trying to get to bottom of things, it is hard to imagine him as an old wise person. The world building up this point isn't done too much but based on everything else it would probably be decent. Don't expect a vastly different story then other urban stories, but I liked it. So if you are fan of the genre and tags then give a go. The MC is a bit annoying at times but it is only 32 chapter up to this point and hopefully he will change.0 0 Reply

Enjoyable read, but gets very repetitive very fast, starts out good, but for gods sake do we need one whole chapter to go through every boss in every dungeon (2-5 bosses or so in a dungeon) and what the mc does in said dungeons is the same thing he does with every other dungeon, explain boss' abilities, slowly throughout the course of the chapter whittling down the boss' hp, and commanding his team, and oh look you got wiped and its the end of the chapter, wait till next chapter to find out if he clears it this time haha...overall,Translation quality and stability is good, but the repetitive ass plot is so damn boring. Still a decent way to pass time tho :P0 0 Reply

I like the story and progression but man these translations need some serious work at times. constantly getting the realms and genders wrong makes this extremely annoying to read at times. I've submitted well over 100 corrections. Hopefully they get done. Other than that it's a story I would rank 8.5/10 overall.0 0 Reply
