Heads up. I read the raws and I should've seen it coming and I did. Hints of racism and nationalism are there even though the country isn't called China even in this translated version but like all it's peers and predecessors this novel gets DISGUSTING real quick. It’s a fun novel with a few things that are a bit off… first why make an RE movie into a game? The games are epic just stick with those (up to 4) second we don’treally need the eight chapter play through of the first game… we’ve seen the movie… Third the mc get like no screen time and his system has no rewards or anything it’s more like an ability… there’s no level progression

Finally!!! the top novel that can be treated the same as RTW and Lord of the Mysteries. This novel is slow in the beginning but the story is incredibly intriguing and picks up the pace after 30-40 chaps. i even braved the risk and read in MTL and the story is simply fantastic. a mix of Politics, kingdom building and Mystery. Along for the ride are Dragons,Elfs, and sirens.So steel yourself and begin your journey, youll never regret it.
First let me say that I'm a big fan of stories that involve the apocalypse, zombies, rv's or mechanically interesting vehicles and roadtrips.And I think if you too are interested in any of that then DON'T READ THIS. Even after I convinced myself to mentally treat this story as Steampunk (meaning any technology can work like magic and that's ok) I still was annoyed at how ridiculous pretty much everything was. And by everything I don't just mean the physical things (still can't figure out if the van is bigger inside like a Tardis) - but character interactions / development / world building / dialog / consistency - everything.Out of the 25 or so things I've added to my library here this is the first to be removed.
