Su Aobai was once a troublesome son. In male-oriented face-slapping plots, he was excellent in every aspect but would become foolish whenever he encountered the male protagonist, leading to the downfall of his family and causing his domineering father to die of anger.

In cultivation worlds, he was a talented second-generation cultivator who mocked the male protagonist, whose cultivation had been crippled, for a woman, only to be rejected by her. Eventually, the male protagonist seized an opportunity, returned to destroy Su Aobai’s sect, and caused the sect leader, his father, to die of rage.

Now, Su Aobai has become a father with children just as troublesome as he once was.

Initially, Su Aobai was reluctant, but the system promised him rewards if he could improve his children’s favorability towards him, and he ended up enjoying it.

After all, what’s the point of being a son? Being a father is the coolest.

Love Price!? is undoubtedly one of the sweetest one-shots I've ever had the pleasure of reading. It had me squealing and giggling uncontrollably, to the point of hyperventilating with excitement—something that doesn't happen often.

Story: While the plot isn't the most original, there's something about Love Price!? that truly stands out. There's a certain special quality I can't quite put my finger on. Given its fast-paced nature, I had to remind myself that this was a one-shot and not a fourteen-volume manga series. With such limited space, it's understandable that the relationship couldn't develop slowly and steadily. The story follows a boy (I'm terrible with names) who encounters an older, wealthy man. Upon discovering his wealth, the boy requests a job but ends up being used as a sex slave. Despite initial wariness, the boy inexplicably falls in love. As someone who isn't particularly fond of one-shots, I'll give the story a fair six.

Art: The artwork in Love Price!? is exceptionally well done. I'm a big fan of Yuzuki Ichi's style, though the art in this one-shot doesn't quite match the brilliance of her other work, "Welcome Home" (a yaoi manga, by the way *wink*). Still, the art in Love Price!? sets a high standard for other yaoi mangaka. I'd rate it an eight.

Characters: I'll give the characters a seven. Although there aren't many characters, Yuzuki Ichi does an excellent job of making each one distinct. They have unique backgrounds, and I'm a huge fan of the classic trope where a rich man falls in love with a poor boy—it's such a sweet, forbidden romance.

Enjoyment: Unfortunately, my enjoyment level is fairly low, so I'll rate it a mere five. Why so low when I've praised every aspect? Simply put, it was too short for my personal satisfaction. If Love Price!? had been longer, with a better balance between romance and intimacy, I would have awarded it full marks.

Overall: A six. I've explained my reasons. I do recommend this one-shot if you're looking for something sweet, simple, and quick. Just like how you might read a long manga and need some fast-paced action, Love Price!? fits the bill perfectly.

After the way he kept degrading & raping her. There should have been a lot of groveling. Just apologizing after abusing & assaulting someone is not enough. FL was too weak & spineless.

Is there going to be a sequel? I feel like there’s definitely room for a second book to exist. Especially since there’s still the mystery of a certain someone’s background, and what the world will be like after the events of the ending happened.
