Now, this was published in 1994, and I'm certain it resonated well with its audience back then, as yaoi wasn't as widespread as it is today and was tailored to the preferences of that era. With that said, let's proceed. The artwork bothered me, particularly the facial features—more so the uke's exaggerated eyes! While I acknowledge that this style is dated, I'm familiar with other works from the same period, and even in comparison, the faces still fall short. Aside from that, the art was decent; the physical proportions were solid, and the style remained consistent throughout, so I can't gripe too much. Plot-wise, however, it was a complete disaster. It was more about sex than anything else. Good things happen, sex. Bad things, sex. Any semblance of an actual plot was interrupted five times for sex scenes. If you removed all the sex scenes, I bet this series would only span two volumes instead of six. This is the first time I've had an issue with the excessive sex in yaoi. The plot was so lackluster that I accidentally skipped an entire volume without noticing because most of the storyline revolved around finding excuses or situations for sex—jealousy, not seeing each other for a while, and so on. So, naturally, I went back to read the volume I missed, thinking I might have overlooked something crucial, but no, just more reasons for sex. In conclusion, if you're looking for six volumes where potential plot points are overshadowed by an overwhelming amount of sex, then this might be your cup of tea. Otherwise, don't waste your time.

There are some s*x scenes, but these are few and far between. The first one is past the half of the novel (i think). The scenes are not described well. Its mostly something like "u want to have some fun together?" "Yeah, sure" "ok, lets go" and thats the end.

Yeah, there are no perfect novels, but this one is not that good. Dropped after chapter 42.First: I have nothing to say about the SFX thing. They're pretty funny.Second: Yeah, the characters are pretty stupid sometimes. 'Smart' and 'experienced' gov people who can't think about how stupid it is to antagonize someone as strong as the MC. They start off by acting all condescending and stuff when he just blew off a monster's head with a wave of his hand. Worse, they start plotting right after he one-shot a giant and clearly displayed how strong he is.And the MC is no better. He talks about resting and all but in the end, he just can't help but show off and mess around. He doesn't even try to hide. At the very least he should try to recover some of his powers so he's not caught off guard when shits go down, but NO! The dumb ass just doesn't care and gets dragged into shit anyway! For someone who has lived for more than 200 years, he doesn't make much sense. Really, it can be infuriating at times.Third: Comedy... It's not that funny, but it can make you smile and laugh sometimes.Fourth: I understand that the author had to bring down the MC's level. After all, he was a demon king. He was way too strong. However, it was overdone. Stripping him of everything bar his memories... It just disappointed me. I came here because the premises screamed OP protagonist. And I feel like I have been cheated.Fifth: True. He does not resist. But the MC knows he can get out, and he knows they can't do anything to him. He wants peace, going along with them is clearly better than fighting the arrest. But it's still fucking annoying!Sixth: I have nothing to say about his sister. I stopped reading at chapter 40, so I don't know why she acts like that. But again, MC just up and vanished for 5 years. His sister was depending on him and she had to struggle on her own after he left.
