There wasn’t much of a plot, though; it was more about observing how the relationship developed rather than there being a definitive conclusion. It would have been interesting to explore further how Kyogo's confession impacted the friendship.
The major letdown for me was that it bordered on being too non-consensual, which I felt was unnecessary. Even in the short stories, it almost crossed into rape territory, despite not needing to go there. While I’m no stranger to stories with non-con themes, this one seemed overly focused on it without justification. My inner yaoi fangirl enjoyed it but simply brushed it off.
That said, overall, it’s still a good manga. I particularly appreciate the effort put into character development, especially with Kyogo. You can tell each character has their own story waiting to unfold. If you’re a yaoi fan who doesn’t mind non-con elements, then it’s worth checking out if you can get your hands on it.
