In a world where cultivation meets technology, where ancient spirits merge with quantum computers, one student at the prestigious Soul-Mana Academy seeks power through forbidden means. Azrael Thane appears to be the perfect initiate, but beneath his carefully crafted facade lies a master of corruption who seeks to twist the sacred art of Soul-Mana harmonization into something darker.

When he discovers a fellow student with natural demon spirit integration, Azrael sees an opportunity to perfect his forbidden techniques. But as he delves deeper into the academy's dark secrets, he uncovers a truth that even he might not be prepared for - the barrier protecting the academy isn't just keeping corruption out, it's keeping something in. Something that remembers the catastrophic experiments of the past, and yearns to break free.

Author runs out of ideas and vision by chapter 70 lol. All of his sect mates suddenly become just as overpowered like the MC somehow with magical encounters and hidden backgrounds to instantly power them up. Haven't read very far but the sect leader is apparently a hidden super expert? What? Nothing is making sense anymore. Also there's no direction in this novel. What's the MC's purpose? What will he do? Are there any adventures? Answer is nothing.Author had an interesting premise but no long term plan and it just devolves into bullshıt.

When I first reviewed this novel in the first chapter, I had no idea what to say. But now that this book has won gold in WPC 220, hopefully, I can answer some questions. The first thing I want to ensure is the quality of the work. I have two years of writing experience, so don't worry about bad grammar or robotic character interactions. MC is neither evil nor kind. He is stuck in a VR game with thousands of players, but his priority is to get out of the game.MC is a novice in VR games (this is literally his first time playing one), but that doesn't mean he will be a total noob. He has professionally trained in swordfights, martial arts, and many more things. The main goal is to survive, Romance and Harem. At first, I wasn't sure whether I should add romance or not, but a novel without romance is like coffee/tea without sugar; some like it, while some don't. So the romance will be a sub-plot here.As for the harem, I will add it as a subplot too. His goal is to survive and beat the game, not to collect girls. There is also cultivation, but it is also a subplot. And Zach's (MC) cultivation is unique that allows him to cultivate infinite MP. I have also added illustrations of places and characters in the paragraph comments (if you see a blue one, click on it) for reference. I can't think of any more questions. Feel free to ask here, I will reply to them all!

A confusing as hell world that gradually unveils itself.I don’t want to post spoilers in this review but that would be very difficult for a novel like this. I’ll try not to though.First off, reading the first few chapters would make anyone confused. You’ll only start to get a basic understanding after chapter 9.In this supernatural world, dangerous and mysterious happenings occur around the city and our MC is learning and trying to get stronger during these times. He kinda reminds me of Chen Ge if you know who he is (My House of Horrors). There is tons of Chinese folklore and Xianxia elements that populate the story. And as for the yaoi another review talked about. I’m not seeing any so far... I really hope there isn’t any.So, I quite enjoyed the novel if I ignored my confusion I had the entire time reading it. Despite my confusion, I would probably keep reading it. On chapter 39, it reveals some more world background and developments that got me more interested but I’m poor! Poor! Poor!Important things must be repeated three times. 😏

A great novel that seems to get alot of hate for no real reason, it has alot of filler but that is something almost every novel on this app has especially some of the more popular ones, another complaint I see often is that there are too many fight scenes? Idk what these people are smoking but I think you're in the wrong genre if you want infrequent combat, the way the story arcs of this novel work are a long journey, fraught with dangers and fights, a midway rest where danger reveals itself and they are forced back onto the path, and finally a falling action point where the characters can rest, grow, and get their affairs in order. Unlike other sword and magic novels the MC is not a sociopath and actually starts out as ***** child that gets taken advantage of easily, it takes quite some time before he's able to deal with others without getting the short end of the stick. Also there is no "cheat item" his badge is actually a very weak damaged magical item which judging by the pilot chapter never gets repaired, it's only ability is to completely drain the energy of whoever is in contact with it and only gives an extremely slight boost to elemental affinity in return. As for combat applications he can only use it against an enemy effectively when he is in a group and fighting against an individual, as it renders him immobile as well, he can also use it as a shield as before it was damaged it was a very powerful artifact. The only thing that could be considered a cheat is the potion he drank to become a mage, but made him only able to use water magic and it almost killed him. He only survived when he met a grade 9 mage, which is the current strongest rank of mage in the novel, who was willing to fix the problems with his body.

Prime's heart leaped out after hearing the truth. She couldn't help but question the Lord, "How come, shouldn't they be elsewhere?"
