“I waited for you my entire life... and you were worth every minute.” Ardyn Lowell usually forgets his dreams. He is a typical young adult with good friends and a loving family. Despite these blessings, a persistent yearning lingers in his heart, an unfulfilled longing for someone who never seems to come. In his dreams, however, he remembers everything. He recalls the man who frequently visits him, the one who always sits beside him on the edge of a fountain in a beautiful garden. Ardyn can never clearly see this man's face, but the yearning in his heart subsides when he is with him. But upon waking, he forgets the man once again, and the longing in his chest remains unresolved. The day of his graduation arrives, and Ardyn is late. Caught in traffic, he unexpectedly meets with a severe car accident and dies quickly, suddenly. When he wakes up, he finds himself in another world. In this world, a dark, malevolent entity threatens to destroy the planet and its people. Summoners play a crucial role here. To seal away this entity, a Summoner must embark on a journey to find their 7 Guardians to summon the 7 Spirits that will aid in sealing the great evil. Failure is not an option; survival depends on it. As an Otherworlder Guardian, Ardyn faces a significant burden. He must search for his Summoner while discovering his own purpose along the way. The journey is long and filled with hardships, but they have no choice. They must save this world to live. --------------------------------------------- — Inspired by Final Fantasy X and Fushigi Yuugi NOTE: This is an isekai fantasy BL (boy's love) novel. The story is descriptive and slow-paced, with the romance developing gradually as a slow burn. There will be some violent, gory, and disturbing scenes in the future, but there will be no mature, explicit (NSFW/R18) scenes in this story.
