Just love the soul land/douluo dalu series !! This being the 3rd Seeing their family become the greatest soul masters of all time and meeting friends that are extremely talented too is so much fun. I love this story !

What a unique twist to the classic tale of cultivation! The protagonist has a few screws loose, but this makes his journey all the more interesting.

Story moves on slowly but it's engaging. This is a typical xian xia in many senses of the word but atypical at the same time. It fiercely avoids cliche scenarios like "Courting death!" and no face slapping young masters from other families (even though the MC does slap his father's face). The author seems to care about his story and isn't just writing another lazy rehash of the same d*mn concepts we've seen 200 times. And the MC is actually smart. Like not the author says he's smart while he acts like an absolute dumb*ss smart but actually smart. Like you could agree with many of the things he said while thinking logically. I will say though that personally, I think this book need a little comedy but otherwise, I think this will be quite a decent book about 200 or 300 chaps in. Fighting, author! Totally give it a try before deciding whether this is for you or not.

After reading all the arrogant young masters in all cultivation novels, the MC here feels like the cream of the crop. For some reason, I like his character and personality. He pursues vanity to the extreme but has his reasons to be grounded and not have his head buried up in the clouds.The writing style is smooth and flawless and the choice of words make it a refreshing read. This is definitely a novel I am reading every single day.

At first I was a bit apprehensive towards the novel. The MC starts out fat and is a loser, but over time he really does grow into a great guy that pulls through despite everything. The author does a great job of writing funny moments as well as bringing the serious times when they need to.The writing of the novel improves by a lot as it goes on, starting about average for this site but improving to what is currently chapter 98. The subtleties and detail that is explained makes me feel like I'm seeing it while I read it.5/5. I'm looking forward to reading more!

I love svi-gi stories since i was a girl. This story is still short but already has the foundationen to before a classic.The conspiracy in the beginning made me shiver and the fight in the corridors was crazy!Highly recommend.
