I tried so hard to keep reading this, I really did. It just has every bad cliché tha I hate:An MC who tries to hide his power for a stupid reason. An MC who somehow finds the most beautiful girls around him and forms fast relationships. An MC who tries to take on the world alone rather than finding support from others.Cliché descriptions of women as weak and beautiful creatures waiting to be conquered by men.Cliché extras who somehow think in the most bizarre way possible to maintain MC’s secrets. Most of this would be fine if the author simply skipped a lot of the early stages and moved on to a more balanced story. We do not need 40 chapters to reach level fifteen when the character basically will do nothing but grind until he has to come out.0 0 Reply

I have read this up to 700+ chapter in a different translator and they stop updating it and then I found it here and now I have to pay to reread the chapter I already read before because I forgot some of the story due to the long absent of update...and I really like this but the stones I have to shell out is too much...0 0 Reply

Do not read this trash novel. MC is a big pushover who allows others to step all over him and his loved ones until ‘they go too far’ and only then will he go psycho and kill their whole family. His sister has been in danger from all these annoying ‘young masters’ numerous times but doesn’t teach her to cultivate, not to hide his identity or anything but because ‘maybe later’ and what happens. People try to kill her or kidnap her so many times AHHHHHH SO ANNOYING0 0 Reply

Not gonna lie, the start was pretty rough to get through(the initial first 25 chapters or so) for various reasons like the ranking system (I am a person that is bothered even by small details like this, so this might not have been as bothersome for others), some grammatical errors as I usually read only top-quality novels and the MC's edginess. However as more chapters came out the grammar improved to the point there were only a few errors noticeable in a dozen chapters or so, I stopped being bothered by the ranking system, we got more of the character's background and the MC was not as edgy as before and he actually developed as a character and made believable mistakes and decisions. The only major thing I was bothered overall was how the MC was able to dodge magic spells at the speed of a bullet and the author gave the explanation that he analyzed it and dodged it since he had the skills in the real world too. There was someone who said that even if he is able to do that, his body in the VR world will not be able to keep up with him and the author replied that since it's VR things depend more on his brain's abilities or something like that. I completely disagree with that, because the stats in VR are supposed to limit his body's movement and his agility was his lowest stat (the stats of a player that just started the game). If he could move his body in whatever way he wanted, then what will be the meaning of stats? Now I will move on to the point I liked the most in the novel - the focus on the 'real' world. I think that the best decision that the author made in the entire novel is to focus on the 'real' world as much as he did on the VR world. The other VR novels I have read are always 95% ( in the very least) VR and 5% (an exaggeration) real world. I commend the author for that.Overall the novel is worth it if you can endure the first 25 chapters or so.0 0 Reply

Early review but I’ll still do it since I enjoyed it. Well it’s for sure a book for cultured men or woman and I do like the mc’s deceiving nature. Over all I say it’s a good read but I’ll see what happenes in later chapters.0 0 Reply

*ahem* Fellow daoist it's Swordfane, not profane but the thought it appreciated! I finally have more free time so the novel speed will ramp up. I plan to finish a volume every month and complete the story in 2-3 months. Thank you for giving it a chance!0 0 Reply
