"Trust me," she said with a grin. "A friend of mine sent that to me. He said it's called Clinton County Coffee. A soda sold in a town called Carlyle in Illinois. He said it's good stuff."
"Why did you bat your eyelashes on Luke the first time we met?" Annabeth asks casually, voicing out a question that's been bothering her once she remembered it.
The car that would take them to the 'Golden Side' was told that it'll pick everyone up at their 'home' at sundown. At first it all seemed like a dream, the realization of what he did filtering out making it hard to believe that it was true.
Imteresting setup and realistic MC. She is not omnipotent from the start. Hope is a nice addition and hopefuly she will have more screen time in the future.
This story is like a mystery box of romance, tragedy, and seriously dark moments. Our main character starts out as a total weakling, but don’t worry—there’s some action that turns things around. And, oh boy, the main love interest? A cold-blooded yandere with the villain attitude cranked up to the max. 😳Every chapter has me like:- "Wait, did they just betray each other?!"- "Did he just fight 10 guys to save her?!"- "Oh no, someone’s about to cry… again."If you’re into historical vibes with a touch of craziness, characters who can't seem to have a normal love life, and a main character going from weak to strong, this is the one. Just prepare yourself for drama, a wild romance, and some tragic feels!
