The plot is interesting and somewhat unique. It borrows from tried and true popular themes and stories but adds its own spin to it.Initially, I had this novel reviewed at about 3.5 stars, but with the author's revision of their chapters making it a much more enjoyable story to read, I've changed my review as I said I would.I hope to see more good things for this author in the future!
MC needs to fight in the arena at one point starting at chapter 6 and chapter 25, the fight still has not really started. And aside for a couple of chapters speaking about him watching and betting on fights, it's been 20 chapters about him bribing to participate to the fight, people not believing he would win, people ridiculing him, people admiring him, people getting mad at him, people trying to break into the arena making a scene to save him.If you believe that list above is long and boring, go read these 20 chapters...
Personally, I prefer these kinds of plot where the MC is not a dumb retard who goes around forgiving people. I like how he's scheming and shameless lolIf you guys like such novels, definitely give this one a read. You won't regret it.
Translator quality is bad.There was a contradiction in chapter 2 which was due to poor translation. I just can't read anymore.As such i gave 1 star for translation quality and 3 stars for everything else.
