The story, characters, and plot are well-developed, and the narrative flows nicely from beginning to end. The art is appealing and captures your attention right from the start.
One of those truly enjoyable manga (Manhua) that you're glad to have read.
In my experience, manga generally has superior art, with characters that are undeniably cute or eye-catching. However, while browsing for a new manga to read on MAL, I stumbled upon this manhwa called "Show Me the Money."
STORY: 9/10
The story revolves around a boy named Dahsau Zuhn, who was once a millionaire. Due to his father's mounting debts, Dahsau's life takes a drastic turn, leaving him impoverished and struggling to afford even three meals a day. He gets expelled from his previous school and is transferred to a low-class institution. One day, on his way home, he encounters Aimei Jin, a strikingly beautiful girl at the bus stop. Sitting next to her, Dahsau is instantly captivated by her allure. Little does he know, behind her enchanting facade lies a girl who will go to great lengths for money. Consequently, Dahsau finds himself enslaved to pay off his debts—another tale where the girl outshines the boy.
ART: 8/10
The art in this manhwa is surprisingly adorable. It caught my attention enough to make me want to read it. The style feels more akin to manga than manhwa. The female characters are exceptionally well-drawn, maintaining proper proportions, and it's evident that the artist put significant effort into crafting visually appealing characters.
CHARACTER: 10/10
I award full marks for the characters, especially Aimei. She is a formidable and determined young woman, instilling respect and fear among her peers at school. Her combination of intelligence and beauty makes her an irresistible character. Personally, I admire strong female characters and detest those that lack depth. As for Dahsau, despite not being conventionally handsome, he exhibits gentlemanly qualities. It's heartwarming to see how willing he is to assist Aimei, even when he has nothing to offer.
ENJOYMENT: 10/10
I thoroughly enjoyed this series. Although it is relatively short, each chapter is engaging and filled with humor. There are plenty of funny and entertaining moments that keep you hooked! Every page leaves you eager to turn to the next.
Overall, I rate this manhwa 9/10! I highly recommend giving it a try.
