(Alternate History Setting)
[Military Marriage | Spoiling the Wife | Double Virgin Leads | Arranged Marriage Before Love | Making Money & Slapping Scumbags]
After a night’s sleep, medical professor Su Ying wakes up in the 1980s. Her spot at university has been stolen, she’s injured when seeking justice, and when she goes to the city for treatment, she learns that her father abandoned her and her mother long ago—worse still, he’s schemed to marry her off to a disabled veteran.
Every unlucky thing imaginable falls on Su Ying’s shoulders. Yet, even through all the hardships, she still chooses to marry. So what if he’s disabled? So what if he’s older? Treating illness requires money, and at least the veteran has some savings.
After their flash marriage, she finds that the veteran is thin, bedridden, and a pitiful soul unloved by both parents. Su Ying softens. He’s her husband now, after all. She’ll fatten him up, cure him, and together they’ll build a better life and grow rich—until the property deeds are stacked high enough to fill an entire courtyard.
