The experience was truly engaging and slightly dark, leaving me unexpectedly immersed until the pesky gray button obstructed my progress. I would definitely recommend it. It's worth noting that the gender twist doesn't significantly impact the storytelling; it simply portrays a character who isn't particularly interested in men. However, I'm unsure if this aspect will develop differently in future plotlines.

While the series has its merits, it falls short in maintaining新鲜感 due to repetitive patterns in each battle sequence. The subject of adversity is prevalent, as character deaths are not uncommon.

One aspect that I can't help but comment on is the handling of the romance tag and the gender bender element. The advertised romance seems misleading, as the protagonist's feelings remain one-sided and unrequited throughout the story. There's no genuine romantic connection between the MC and any character.

Regarding the gender bender plotline, personally, I enjoy such narratives, but this particular one doesn't justify its inclusion, as it's barely relevant to the overall plot and doesn't see the MC experiencing any significant personal growth or transformation. The character's mindset remains consistent from beginning to end, without any noticeable change related to their gender identity.

I haven't delved into many Time Skip novels yet, but I find them intriguing as a tool to explore character development and plot twists. Initially, it provided some light moments, but the tone shifted to darker themes later, which isn't necessarily a bad thing – it keeps me engaged. However, there are several questions that I'm eager to see answered in upcoming chapters.

The main character (MC) comes across as a coward, with deep emotional scars. Despite this, their actions stem from a genuine desire to protect others and maintain their own sanity, showcasing their empathetic nature. The Original Female Lead (OFL), Sylvia, starts off as frustrating due to her jealousy and immaturity, but she evolves positively. I appreciate her ability to learn from her mistakes.

The Other Male Lead, however, is a complete turn-off with his intrusive behavior and lack of consent. I'm not looking forward to forced encounters between them; I'd prefer any other character as a potential love interest.

The professors are portrayed as caring and competent, which is a relief. The class president and senior student are my favorite characters, as they exhibit genuine concern for the MC from the beginning.

The MC's reluctance to form connections, despite their caring nature, becomes annoying, especially considering the potential benefits for mental health and safety. It's refreshing to see a more realistic approach to adjusting to such a drastic change.

In terms of translation, it's error-free and easy to read. I appreciate the smooth web interface as well.

From the author's note on an Machine-Translated version, I learned that there's a substantial amount of fan art, which would be a fun addition to have access to. Overall, I'm looking forward to seeing how the story unfolds further.

I never anticipated how much I would enjoy this novel, and one significant factor is the depth of character development. The main character (MC) grapples with thoughts of suicide, making her journey feel intensely raw and emotional at times. It's remarkable how her circumstances improve eventually.

The male lead (ML), initially perceived as irritating, has evolved into a more mature and responsible hero throughout the story. While I acknowledge that this novel might raise some concerns for some readers, I believe the themes it delves into,尽管令人不安, are thought-provoking and worthy of exploration. The pacing is slow, with a challenging and gritty beginning, but it sets the stage for the MC's eventual brighter moments. The way the author handles mental health issues adds significant value to the narrative.

If you haven't read it yet, I wholeheartedly recommend giving this novel a chance. The characters are endearing, and the storytelling is captivating.

From my personal perspective, I believe this is an underrated gem. Initially, it appears rather clichéd with a protagonist being transported to a familiar fictional realm, attending an academy, and encountering typical hero and villain dynamics. However, the book defies expectations by delivering a strong narrative.

One aspect that truly stands out is the author's skill in delving deep into the characters' thoughts and emotions. While the story does take darker turns, it avoids falling into the trap of gratuitous sadness – there's a significant emotional depth beyond surface-level drama. I also commend the protagonist for not passively accepting their new reality; instead, they genuinely long for their previous life.

In summary, I wholeheartedly recommend this work. If you're on the fence, give it a try by reading about 30 chapters and form your own opinion. I'll update this review later.

I really enjoy this novel. The world构建 is well thought out and the characters exhibit a commendable level of depth. The main character (MC) is portrayed with empathy, despite their unfortunate circumstances, making it easy for readers to relate and feel compassion. It was worth persevering through the initial chapters because the精彩部分 truly unfolded later on. I'm glad I didn't abandon it.

"Well-deserving of a 5-star rating! This academy novel truly stands out among the rest. Initially, it lulls you with a familiar premise, making you believe it's just another ordinary tale. However, by chapter 30, the narrative takes a gripping psychological turn, revealing the harrowing dangers lurking in the world of the story.

The characters are masterfully crafted. Scarlet, the protagonist, is a relatable office worker trapped in a female body. Initially, her situation may seem humorous, but as you progress, you empathize with her struggles for survival, making her a compelling main character.

Sylvia, the original female lead, starts off as a complex character – initially frustrating, but as her motivations become clear, you develop a nuanced understanding and appreciation for her growth throughout the story.

Lastly, Si Woo, the original main character, initially comes across as annoying due to some questionable decisions. But his character development is nothing short of remarkable; he undergoes significant transformation, becoming one of my favorite characters by the end. And yes, there's a romantic subplot involving him – go, Si Woo!

Overall, this novel offers a captivating blend of genres, making it a must-read for fans of academy stories and compelling character journeys."

Honestly, this gender-bending novel stands out as one of the better ones in its genre. It does have its dark moments, but the storyline is undeniably captivating. What I appreciate is the depth and realism of the characters – they make mistakes, strive to grow, which humanizes them and prevents them from being portrayed as invincible superheroes or one-dimensional sidekicks. This authenticity makes me more inclined to root for them.

In summary, I wholeheartedly recommend this book, just be aware that it involves gender bending. There's a possibility of more romance developing later on, so if that's not your cup of tea, you might want to reconsider or give it a try with an open mind.

This captivating novel has earned a 5-star rating from me due to its entertainment value. However, its unique structure sets it apart, as initially, the beginning might not impress, with a somewhat clichéd protagonist and familiar academy drama. Typically, I advise against reading on if one dislikes the start, but that rule doesn't apply here.

The unusual introduction serves as a prelude to an unexpectedly extensive and well-written action narrative. To avoid spoilers, I'll outline key turning points:

    1. Chapters 1-20: The story starts resembling a typical academy tale, with annoying characters. The main character's actions initially seem foolish, but Chapter 31 reveals a strategic plan, which leads to better understanding and empathy for the characters.

    2. Chapter 38: The first major action arc begins, introducing consistent action sequences and plot twists.

    3. Chapter 50: The full fantasy world's backdrop is disclosed, revealing a scope far beyond expectations. This hints at a global journey for the characters.

    4. Chapter 78: A favorite arc commences, with exceptional writing that deeply engages readers emotionally. The story takes a darker turn from here.

As I progressed, my investment grew, and chapters 78 and beyond have been consistently excellent. Now, this novel is my daily must-read. I highly recommend giving it a fair chance, even if the initial chapters may not be your usual cup of tea.

I've been an avid reader on this platform for quite some time, but this particular story has compelled me to pen my thoughts for the first time. It's an outstanding demonstration of narrative misdirection; initially, it sets up familiar tropes, but soon it takes unexpected twists, challenging our initial perceptions.

The protagonist is an intriguingly unreliable narrator, showcasing depth and complexity that keeps the reader engaged. Although the supporting cast is relatively small, each character is well-developed and adds value to the story. Misunderstandings occur, but they never feel forced; instead, they serve as humorous moments or catalysts for character growth, which I greatly appreciate.

The translation is both rapid and of high quality, enhancing the reading experience. My minor criticism lies in the author's portrayal of the main character. The MC is consistently depicted as vulnerable even in their subtle actions, bordering on the excessive side, almost verging on pity-bait. However, it's a minor issue that doesn't detract from the overall enjoyment of the tale.
