Absurdo

A long time ago, there was a pantheon of beings who ruled reality. All twelve were incapable of living in harmony, always at war with one another, destroying the lives of mortals. And when they were not at war, they made mortals fight among themselves or affected their lives in inexplicable and nonsensical ways. One day, one of these rulers decided that enough was enough; order and chaos must be replaced by harmony. The war among the entities was violent—six of the twelve wanted to change reality, while the other six wanted to maintain the status quo. Utopia, the architect of the revolt in this reality, fought to the end against the Original Light, the sovereign of reality. The result left both of them weakened, and only Utopia and the Original Light remained of the twelve rulers. The Original Light divided into three essences: red, yellow, and blue—to recover. These essences were tasked with choosing worthy humans to bear them, thereby reviving them. Utopia decided to turn this into a game for entertainment while recovering and began whispering in the minds of humans, causing intrusive thoughts. Those who managed to communicate back with Utopia were chosen and transformed into Apostles. Thus, the conflict formed between the Guardians, heirs of the Original Light—humans who died and were revived by one of the three essences—and the Twelve Apostles, followers of Utopia who heard and responded to his whispers, fighting and dying for their mad God.
