Half a year flew by, and in that time, Bret managed to breakthrough to rank ten. With that they finally could go to Beating Stone City for getting his first artificial spirit soul, and find a place to stay. Sitting in his dad car, they headed towards th capital after saying their goodbyes to the rest of their family. The positive change in the plan happened, because Kane also joined them, as he too needed his first soul ring. In terms of cultivation, they were now equal, but that was only because Bret cultivation technique is better thanks to his dad and grandpa. Sitting in the car and listening music, excited chit-chat could be heard from the 2 boys. Getting a first soul ring for kids like them is a way too big excitement factor. They thought a lot on their own, what kind of abilities would they get, and already how to utilise them. Seeing the excitement Linus cooled them down a little bit, since he didnt want them to have too big disillusions. The training of the 2 boy progress nicely, since they started to train together, to increase the effectiveness. In hand to hand combat, Kane was better, thanks to that he could utilise his opportunities better. However when they went to swords, or other weapons, Bret couldnt be handled. They also received a storage ring with 3x3m cubic space. It was especially useful for Bret, because he could maintain his two daggers, and two swords there. He still couldnt decide which combo he should use later on, because he loved the versatility of the daggers, but also the sheer power and speed of the dual wielding swords. His father let him be, however he banned him from using them at school.
