Okay so Cheng Yumo may be a bitch but that Huo Mother in law of hers is despicable and all the otger mother in laws in the story who pushes for their neices to marry their son like ew wtf. I know its the old days but incest is really disgusting even though they are cousins or a little distant in relation but still YOU'RE RELATED.
Hey martin suggest me any one of these that contain good sm*t with a decent story, I already read villages head and it is not my thing and conquerors path is good and I'm following it and SHGS is the best I have ever read. So apart from these give one.

I absolutely love this book. It isn't perfect and needs a bit of editing but the story sucks you in and keeps you interested all the way through. The characters are great. I will definitely be searching for more books by this author.
