I am really loving this story. Rowan is a very relatable character, and i like the unique fantasy world. It feels like the author put a lot of thought into the world building. The banter between the ML and MC is top notch. Author has a talent for dialogue.
I agree. You have to take a decision in real life...it has no open endings. More over, too much importance has been placed over this wedding, which was just meant as an announcement, a public acceptance and giving more respect to Xiu Ling. So why the need of doubt or question at this point when she's already living a married life with LK (although the fact that no emphasis was given on improvement in personal relationship or intimacy between LK and XL over this whole period of time was impractical). Why would she say no to the wedding anyway? That would mean she wants to get out of the marriage. Then what had she been working hard for all this time? To be able to stand beside LK as an equal, with pride....and now she's thinking whether she should stay beside him or not??
