This novel is part of the novel series called 188男团. Several characters from other novels in the series (specifically: Little White Poplar and Sissy) will have cameos, but it is not necessary to read these novels beforehand.The original title of the novel from its first publication in JJWXC is “你却爱着一个傻逼” or ” 你却爱着一个SB ” (Yet You’re In Love with an Idiot) but it has changed its name to “你却爱着一个他” (Yet You’re In love with Him) when it was hosted on iQIYI. It is also the title of the official manhua on Kuaikan Comics. Technically, the official English title of this novel is now “My Beloved Fool” (the given English title in the manhua), but I’m choosing to use the translation of the original title.Don’t be fooled by the number of chapters, each chapter is very long. Thus, the chapters will be separated into parts (in JJWXC it was 130+ chapters, but now that SQC’s contract with JJWXC expired & the novel’s now hosted in iQIYI, chapters were compressed together into only 23 so each chapter is very long)This translation has been continued to Chrysanthemum Garden.
