Wrenley relocates to Waindale, a cherished location where her mother's roots run deep and her grandmother resides. As she explores the area among the towering pine trees and damp earth, she discovers that this place isn't the idyllic haven she nostalgically recalls. A sinister undercurrent lurks within the woods, tugging at her with an eerie force. Switching on the lamp atop her dresser, Wrenley creates a soft, comforting glow with its delicate pink shade. The light filters through her window, like a beacon, possibly even a silent call to someone. The darkness outside is chilling, making her momentarily worry for their safety. Yet, she soon realizes that the true peril lies not in the darkness, but within those woods themselves.
