Abandoned by God. I decide to rise to godhood and have fun in the process. Be it wiping out humans or founding a massive army of demons...or even just spending a night reading good books, nothing will stand in the way of my enjoyment. Well, things will try, but if a human stands in my way I will kill him, if a God stands in my way I will kill him and consume his divinity.
