Claire is bravely working to rebuild her life after the traumatic events that occurred during her final year of high school. As fate would have it, during her second year at college, she unexpectedly encounters Evan Brown - the seemingly perfect guy from her past, who coincidentally transferred to her university and happens to be the ex-boyfriend of her once-close friend, Maya. Evan carries a burden of guilt and regret for not being able to support Claire more in the past. He's now driven by a desire to help her chase her long-held dream of performing on stage. There's an undeniable connection forming between them, yet they must confront the deep-seated fears and old grudges that stand in their way of exploring this new relationship.
