After the defeat of the previous Demon king, the world of Karioth has flourished.

Without the looming threat of the demons to terrorize their people, the kingdoms of the world have been (relatively) peaceful.

However, this was hundreds of years ago (327 years to be exact) and a new Demon king (supposedly) threatens the land. With the people of Karioth unprepared for the new threat, there is only one person who will be able to halt the death and destruction to come, the Child of Prophecy, born under the star of heroes. This person is Karioth's only hope, the only problem is... No one knows who they are.

However, this story is not about that hero, no, this is about their companion, a person born in the small town of Arrias, within the Kingdom of Hiderai, one of the farthest countries from the demonic territories of Brim. This man, he is no mere warrior, not a Mage either. His name is Locke, and he is a farmer, a potato farmer.

Author notes:

This is my first story, so please bear with me,

The mature tag is really only for some of the language and combat but if this goes well, maybe more later on.

Will add romance on later chapters, possibly harem also

Oh and please feel free to leave some constructive criticism on the comments, I'll try to improve as the series goes on.

Please forgive me if the releases take a while, but I'll try to make it at least once a week.

Caution: may sometimes break the fourth wall.

Sitting back with a sigh, he felt as if a weight had been lifted. He no longer had to make a call. Someone else would, and based on that, they'd make their attack.
