Vampires do exist, but they're far from the romantic, enchanting creatures we often imagine. They're cunning and ruthless, causing destruction wherever they go. To make matters personal, one vampire, Hades, has captured my heart without knowing the truth – I'm not the woman he believes I am. I'm not his love interest, and I don't desire that role. Being trapped near the powerful King of the Dead has taught me that appearances can be deceptive. While Hades exudes authority, it was Thomas who unexpectedly saved me from certain doom. One is a mortal, while the other is practically divine. There's an imminent threat looming, and my human friends are under attack.
