Keith has been serving an old god for hundreds of years now. In ages past, he had committed a heinous crime and was branded as a subject of his Lord so he could atone for his sins. At long last, his journey is finally coming to an end, as he is now on his last mission.
The information he's given before a mission has always been rather vague, and this one proves no different. All he knows is that thousands of people have gone missing in one region of Gaia, and it's the result of someone pairing up with a high-tier Demon. Knowing very little else, he accepts the mission(not that he has a choice in the matter), where he is subsequently warped in front of a stone wall that stretches upwards past the sky. Little did Keith know, this would be the first of many strange happenings in his soon-to-be last mission.
The story centers around Keith as he makes his way forward through one dungeon and event after another. This is a side story of my main novel Shadowbane, set hundreds of years in the future(you don't need to read Shadowbane first to understand this story). It's intended to be around 120-200k words, but nothing is certain yet. On Hiatus until I finish SB. This was fun to write so I'm definitely going to finish it one day.
