"You're an outsider here, a nobody, so stop pretending you belong," someone said sternly. "I understand I don't have a right to be here, but I just need an explanation. Why am I in this situation?" Elara, constantly bullied by her pack for being without a wolf form, struggled to find acceptance among them. Tragically, her stepfather resorted to deceit, drugging and selling her off to a powerful Beta from another city as a breeder. This led her to confront Alpha Rayel, who unexpectedly discovered that Elara was his destined mate, despite already being bonded to his Luna. Overwhelmed by love for his current partner, Rayel lashed out at Elara, but their mating night brought a glimmer of hope. However, Elara's dreams were shattered when she faced relentless torment from Rayel, causing immense emotional pain. To add to her despair, Elara secretly discovered she was pregnant, conceiving during a surreal encounter with a Lycan. Fearing for her life, especially if Rayel found out, she made the heart-wrenching decision to flee and create the illusion of her death. Will Rayel ever truly believe she's vanished forever? How far can Elara go in her desperate quest for safety and a chance at a new beginning?"
