there is indeed some romance, its quite well done imo, tho the plot tends to lean towards growth more than the romance. I enjoy it, they're relationship is kinda wholesome.

it's not unnatural for him to not feel the same. Just cause someone likes you doesn't mean you have to like them back the same way. Especially for those with more maturity, you appreciate company but that's it. Doesn't need to be complicated.
