King Lucien, feeling disillusioned by the deceit of his chosen bride, made a bold decision. He believed it was time to take matters into his own hands and sought a new queen from among his own subjects, regardless of their social standing – whether noble or common. His main goal was to find a suitable partner to fill the throne and put an end to constant pressure from his council of elders. To accomplish this, he organized a grand competition open to all eligible maidens who might aspire to become his queen. This event offered an opportunity for them to vie for the title and perhaps find a new purpose in life. Rosy, a young woman from a humble town, had recently experienced heartbreak when her best friend and boyfriend betrayed her. Seeking solace and a fresh start, she saw the competition as the perfect chance to escape her old life and provide a much-needed break. Though her intentions were not to争夺 the crown, Rosy entered the contest with a dual purpose: to distance herself emotionally and help her mother pay off their debts by receiving an allowance while staying at the palace.
